VSD Used for glanding copper braided screened VSD cables at both input (power source to variable speed drive) and output (variable speed drive to motor) ends for VSD applications.

360° CONTACT SPRING DESIGN
Specialised low resistance 360° contact spring maintains constant, uniform pressure against the cable screen for optimal noise suppression.
Allows smooth cable insertion, rotation, or adjustment without damaging the screen.
CONSTRUCTION:
Material Bright nickel plated extruded brass gland body and compression head (Brass BS EN 50262 1999 / Brass extrusion BS 2874 CZ121 3Pb).
Seal Silicone rubber.
O-Ring PCP Silicone rubber.
Insert PCP Silicone rubber.
CHARACTERISTICS:
Operating Temperature Range -40°C to 80°C. Up to 100°C for short periods.
Protection Class Water rating IP68. Pressure rating 5 bar.
INSTALLATION:
- Make two ring cuts in the sheath 15-20mm apart
- Cut longitudinally between these cuts and remove the sheath to expose the screen
- Insert the cable ensuring the screen makes contact with the gland spring – the sheath may continue to the point where the tails terminate if required.
- Includes an EMC locknut with cutting blades to establish an electrically conductive connection to bare or painted metal surfaces.
