Firstflex Cables and its employees are proud to be supporting both national charities and the community.

Firstflex Cables and its employees are proud to be supporting both national charities and the community.

Our social focus aligns with our core principles; we are an enduring company of almost 50 years with the view of being here for another 50 years and beyond. We recognise the necessity of sustainability and our environmental responsibility – which includes caring for the world around us and the people within it. Our social initiatives center around ensuring our team and the people within our networks thrive.

South Auckland & Franklin district is where Firstflex and most of our employees are based; our community support reflects the scale of our presence and we share our successes with the community. Each year we provide sponsorship and make donations to a range of causes to support national charities, sports teams, schools and community.

Within 2022 and 2023 we have continued our support for the Auckland Rescue Helicopter Trust and LegaSea – which is dedicated to restoring the abundance, biodiversity and health of New Zealand’s marine environment. Additionally, we continue to support and strengthen our electrical industry base such as donating to the New Zealand Electrical Inspectors Association and contributing to events such as the Master Electricians’ 2023 Apprentice Challenge. During the period Firstflex has chosen to contribute to over 50 community causes including Leukaemia & blood cancer, diabetes, autism, a children’s day out variety show, fishing, rugby, softball, basketball and swimming sponsorship.
